| Job Description: | Superb opportunity for an experienced Greens Maintenance Manager/Head Greenkeeper Keeper. Oversee Health & Safety across the golf course and leisure centre. Oversee the maintenance of all greenkeeping equipment. Coordinate the training for all greenkeeping staff. Skills A proven ability to lead staff and ensure introductions are given and undertaken as required. The ability to be self-motivated and ensure work is planned and implemented as agreed with the Course Manager. To work as a team member in a busy greenkeeping environment. To ability to use computer packages, including Word and Excel, to assist with the maintenance of records. An ability to undertake a diverse and demanding workload and to deliver consistently high work, within specified timescales. To be punctual and have a flexible approach to working. Experience of operating a variety of grounds maintenance equipment. The ability to work in a safe manner. Knowledge Current working knowledge of vehicle/machinery use and minor maintenance. Current working knowledge of greenkeeping & horticultural practices. Current working knowledge of irrigation systems and minor repairs.
